This tour is based on Angela’s Ashes, the Pulitzer Prize winner. This book is a bestseller worldwide. The tour stops on the various landmarks from the book and include Arthur’s Quay, River Shannon, Windmill Street, Barrack Hill, Leamy’s School, Parnell Street and many others.
Tours depart from the Tourist Office at 14.30hrs Limerick, and are conducted by tour guide Michael O’Donnell, with the approval of Frank and Malachy McCourt.

We were in Limerick in July and had the pleasure of meeting Michael O’Donnell; the tour was fantastic and as a guide, he was hysterical, very funny and knowledgeable; the antics of frank and the boys hit home as we walked to the old school; a must do tour when in Limerick!
